Ad-PixFlow Quick Start Guide

Try Out the Sample Workflows

Let's start by getting a feel for Ad-PixFlow using the sample workflows that are available by default when you launch the app.

1. "Resize to 400px Width"

This workflow resizes the width of an image to 400 pixels.

Select a File: Drag and drop an image file onto the workflow card, or click to select a file.

Processing and Preview: Once the processing is complete, a preview of the resized image will be displayed. Click "OK" to save the processed image to your download folder.

2. "Rotate and Crop"

This workflow rotates and then crops an image.

Interactive Adjustments: This workflow allows you to interactively correct the image orientation and crop it using a GUI.

3. "Driver's License Photo (JP)"

This workflow is for preparing a photo for a Japanese driver's license on L-size photo paper, which is common in Japan.

Tile Images: You can interactively crop a face from the provided image and then arrange the results in a tile pattern on the paper.

Create a Workflow

You can easily create new workflows on the fly to meet your specific needs.

  1. Start Creating: Click the "+" button in the upper right corner of the screen.
  2. Set a Workflow Name: Enter a name for your new workflow.
  3. Add Processing Steps: In the "Modification Filters" section, add the image processing steps you want to perform (e.g., resize, crop) in order.
  4. Set Output Type: If you want to place the image on specific paper, like for a driver's license, select the Output Type.
  5. Save: Click "Save Workflow" to save your new workflow.

Modify a Workflow

To edit an existing workflow, click the "pencil icon" on the workflow card.

Duplicate and Customize a Workflow

You can easily create a new workflow based on an existing one. Here's an example of how to duplicate the "Driver's License Photo (JP)" workflow and modify it for a different ID photo size.

  1. Duplicate the Workflow: Click the "duplicate icon" on the "Driver's License Photo (JP)" workflow card. This will create a copy of the original workflow.
  2. Start Editing: Click the "pencil icon" on the copied workflow to open the edit screen.
  3. Change the Workflow Name: Change the name to something that makes sense for the new purpose of the workflow.
  4. Adjust the Manual Crop Filter: In the "Manual Crop" filter, specify the desired aspect ratio (width-to-height ratio) for the ID photo.
  5. Adjust the Resize Filter: In the "Resize" filter, set the desired final width for the ID photo.
  6. Select the Output Paper: If you want to print the image on a paper size other than L-size, select the appropriate paper size in the "Output Type," such as 4x6 inch or a custom size.
  7. Save: Click "Save Workflow" to save your modified workflow.
